£2,000.00
– Sold OutThe most romantic pendant has just arrived. It is signed 'A. Augis Depose' and made from 18ct gold, adorned with diamonds and lab-grown rubies.
In 1907, Alphonse Augis, a French jeweller from Lyon, drew inspiration from a line of poetry to create his signature line, the 'Médaille d’Amour'.
The pendant is engraved with 'qu’hier, que demain', which translates to 'more than yesterday, less than tomorrow'. This phrase was derived from a 19th-century love poem by the French poet and playwright Rosemonde Gérard for her husband, Edmond Rostand:
Car, vois-tu, chaque jour je t’aime davantage
Aujourd’hui plus qu’hier et bien moins que demain
The pendant measures 23 mm in diameter (33 mm including the jump ring) and can be purchased along with one of our gold chains (CHAIN NOT INCLUDED).
